I believe the two most important ingredients for a sucessful relationship or marriage are appreciation and shared goals for the future.
I am recently divorced (July 2007) after a long separation. I'm not looking for the perfect woman, just someone who believes that there is more to life than momentary amusement, someone who is aware and concerned about what is happening in the world. I want to meet someone who is warm and caring, someone I can be intimate with in both body and mind. Someone I feel I could trust about everything. I can't guarantee anyone a life of luxury or excitement. But I'm sure we'll have a lot of laughs and fun. I'm looking for someone to date with the possibility of becoming a long term relationship. I'm retired from the Post Office as of late July 2009. I recently received some money from an estate that allows me to enjoy my retirement without looking for part time work. But I intend to become much more active in social causes.
Although I think there are some deficiencies with it, and there are certainly more than 14 personality types, I took the Myers-Briggs personality test online and found I was considered the rarest of all personality types, an INFJ. If you read about this personality type through a search engine, you'll have a basic understanding of me.
Please don't contact me if you are a racist or if you hate gay people. I have two beautiful bi-racial daughters and many gay friends. I have no problem with any religion you may follow (or none at all) as long as it is not a prerequisite for me to follow it as well. I'm looking for someone who is both tolerant and open minded.
We would probably meet somewhere to talk. It could be indoors, like a coffee house, or outdoors, if the weather is nice. She should decide which one she feels most comfortable with.
