The magic list of things to say in your profile...
hobbies - spending time with friends, reading, video games, bowling, movies, walking around the neighbourhood, parks... whatever other fun things that occupy my brain come up.
goals/aspirations - I've been in a management position a few years ago, and I enjoyed it. My current job is fine, but it's not as rewarding. I look forward to the next opportunity to get back into leading a team.
about me - Like most of us I guess, I've got some contrasting elements... I love to socialize and spend time with friends, and generally get along with people, but I don't have the 'knack' for just going out and meeting strangers. I want to travel and see more of the world - I enjoy history, culture and nature - I don't know that lying around on a beach is for me, but I'd lake to travel and see the wonders of the world.
music - metal (not hardcore ear-bleeding death metal, more of classic metal - think Iron Maiden, Metallica), rock, classic rock, alternative, 80's, a little bit of classical.
I think mystery is a good thing when you are meeting someone new, so I'm not going to give all the details of my life - just the basics. I'm part of a great, solid family, I have a good stable career, and I am grown up enough to have a real relationship with the right woman. I like to laugh at life and I'm told I have a good sense of humour... I am serious when it's needed, and lighthearted when it's not. I don't believe In drama or dwelling on the little things - small problems are best dealt with and quickly forgotten.
First dates are open for anything. It's a first date after all, why limit it! If there's something you were looking to try with someone new, send me a message and tell me what it is - maybe it's something I'd like to try to. If not - there's something to be said for just going to dinner or taking a walk to learn that first little bit about each other.
