About Me
I'm intelligent, funny, down-to-earth, honest - I don't play games or expect them from others. I like the normal stuff, like to travel, easy listening or oldies, R&B - the stuff you can sing along to. Not into politics and am spiritual, not religious. I'm the type of woman that likes to walk along holding hands, call/text/email a lot, do just about anything together. It's not what we're doing, it's who we're with, right?
I love having family and friends over to my backyard pool, cooking out on the grill and just having a blast playing volleyball in the water or fooling around trying to splash and dunk each other! I live for pool time - I'm just a nut for anything on, near or in the water, and vacations for me mostly have to include some moment by the ocean (maybe Maine, or Atlantic City, or…your favorite spot?). I toy with the idea of moving south, or at least spending some time there in the winter. Can you tell me more about that?
I really enjoy cooking for people, especially my special man! I love to find out his favorites, whether it's for dinner or dessert. Of course, it's fun to eat out, too, maybe trying out a new restaurant in town or just finding a fun little diner somewhere. I'm pretty low-key when it comes to that, love a Chinese buffet!
I greatly admire a man who is loyal and stands by his family and friends - although appreciate it when he speaks up and says what he means and means what he says! In fact, I really like it when a man has strong spiritual beliefs (not religious) and knows after all these years what matters most to him. On the other hand, if he's very fundamental in his religious beliefs, we probably won't get along.
It's always a pleasure playing a game of cards or pool (watch out, tho, I love to win!) or even video games on tv or computer. Will you play Words with Friends with me on the cellphone?? :)
It's of course a joy to snuggle up with someone to watch tv or a movie, and I promise to SHARE the remote….:)
I love playing golf on a perfect, sunny day - not to hot, not too cold - although I'm such a newbie, I'm not any good, but have a terrific time and a lot of laughs with it - actually, I'm usually having a lot of laughs no matter what I'm doing, finding I'm laughing at myself most of the time! No one would mistake me for an athlete, but I do my best...
It would be a delight if you could teach me about your favorite things, introducing me to stuff I haven't done or think isn't possible, and you give me the courage to try! Maybe I can do the same for you, who knows?
All in all, I have a pretty happy life, as I work for myself, from my home, so my schedule is up to me and flexible. While I don't have any children or pets, I love them both and would welcome yours (although I am allergic to cats…) My family is close-knit, although only my older sister lives here in town, and my nephews and their families are in the NYC/NJ area.
In any case, I'm hoping to find that wonderful man that shares my sense of humor, interests and goals and is interested in getting a friendship and romance going! Please write and let me know more about you!
