May 1, 2013 ....Have been living in California for 2 months....still getting used to "gray days." Finally have my California driver's license, California plates on my car....Have been to my first Padres game.....now I need to find my California guy !!!!

Hi, my name is Chris and I have been a widow for 8 years. Originally from the NY/NJ area, college years in PA, then 35 married years at the Jersey Shore. Relocated to FL in 2003. Spent almost 10 years in Florida, before making the decision to move to San Diego to be near family. I have 3 married sons (in CA, CT & NJ) and 5 grandchildren.
I have been a "people person" all of my life...love making new friends, started a club for the "over 50" seasoned residents in my former FL neighborhood. Worked as a realtor, helping folks find their dream homes. I have always loved the beach, growing up on the beaches of Long Island and then spending many years at the Jersey Shore. Raising 3 sons developed a love of sports, especially college basketball...March is one of my favorite months!
I have traveled somewhat in the past 7 years, the USA and abroad, but miss having someone special to share the new experiences with. Dancing to the Oldies, dining out, watching a movie at home, road trips, sunning on the beach are all activities I would hope to enjoy with a special man. Just sharing the morning newspaper over coffee !!
I would love to meet a man with an outgoing personality, preferably retired, so as to give full attention to our relationship. Financially self-sufficient as am I, not one who is looking for a caretaker. Someone who is not responsible on a daily basis for anyone other than himself. A guy who enjoys life, likes to laugh, wants to explore new places together. Willing to share his family and friends with me, as I would share mine.
