About Me
Oh, gosh! The hard part. LOL :) Let's see. I'm very easy to like & get along with. I love to live for the moment. Again, I have family, friends & relatives who can attest to this. Anybody who knows me, I mean REALLY knows me can tell you, when I utter the words, "I've got an idea," to RUN, do not walk to your nearest exit. LOL :) It's like this. Picture the light in Lucy Ricardo's head going on & her eyes lighting up. She stops in mid-sentence & looks at Ethel Mertz & says those magical words, Ethel! I've got an idea! ;) Well, that's me in a nutshell. Granted, both mine & Lucy's ideas may sound bad in the beginning, but at the end of our episode, it wasn't that bad after all & it all worked out fine. Other than that, I love to quote. I am a big quoter. People have told me that my "life is like one big movie." Guess what. They're right. LOL :) I don't mean to. It just comes naturally. What can I say? ;) Friends and Family say I'm: Anxious, Artistic, Authentic, Confident, Dependable, Educated, Extroverted, Fun, Funny, Generous, Genuine, Handsome, Happy, Honest, Intelligent, Loving, Nice, Perfectionist, Professional, Reliable, Romantic, Sensitive, Social, Supportive, Sweet, Unique. Sports and Activities: Beach, Board Games, Computers, Dining Out, Entertaining, Friendships, Movies/Films, Music/Live Music, Pets, Photography, Religion, TV/Videos/DVD's, Theater Arts, Traveling, Web Surfing and Walking "I'm happy I have brought laughter because, I have been shown by many the value of it in so many lives, in so many ways." - Lucille Ball "People ask me, when am I gonna slow down. You know what I tell 'em? I'm just gettin' started!" - Tina Turner
The list of people whom I'd like to meet is so long. I couldn't possibly name them all. I'd like to meet the Halloween, Friday the 13th & A Nightmare on Elm Street people who were not featured guests at any convention. I'd like to meet anybody whom I haven't met from the movies, TV & music people I've mentioned here in my profile.
I am looking to enter a long term love relationship. I want to share my life with somebody nice, kind, sincere, warm, caring, trustworthy, etc. The person I'd be most interested in meeting is Somebody who is just like me, and has the same and/or similar interests. I'd be interested in meeting somone I have things in common with and who shares the same interests in music, movies, television, etc. In other words, my soulmate, my other half, partner, boyfriend, husband. I am interested in meeting that special someone who makes me feel complete, like that last fitting puzzle piece. In other words, the one I've been dreaming of all my life.
I love all music except for heavy metal & rap. I am a big fan of Barbra Streisand, Tina Turner & Cher. This is gonna shock anybody & everybody that knows me, but I am big into TV Themes. LOL :) I love to recreate them as I hear and/or sing them. ;) I also love soundtracks, too. What can I say? I'm a sucker for show tunes! Although I don't get to do it as often as I'd like to, I like to do karaoke as well.
Movies? Gosh! Where do I begin? Well, first & foremost, I love horror movies. I've been a fan of them since I was six years old. Halloween is my favorite franchise, followed by Friday the 13th & A Nightmare on Elm Street. Now, besides horror & yes, there are others besides horror, LOL, I am a big fan of Steel Magnolias, Freaky Friday (1976 Jodi Foster version), Private Benjamin, Seems Like Old Times, Arthur, Nine to Five (9 to 5), Mommie Dearest, The Toy, Tootsie, Swing Shift, Sweet Dreams, Wildcats, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Peggy Sue Got Married, Adventures in Baby-sitting, Maid to Order, La Bamba, Moonstruck, The Women of Brewster Place, Shag: The Movie, She-Devil, Stella, Mermaids, Soap-Dish, The Prince of Tides, Don't Tell Mom the Baby-sitter's Dead, What's Love Got to Do With it, The First Wives Club, In & Out, Trick, Funny Girl, Funny Lady, Grease, Grease 2, The Brady Bunch Movie, A Very Brady Sequel, The Jazz Singer (Neil Diamond version), The Long, Long Trailer, Yentl, The Incredible Shrinking Woman, Ghost, Eddie and the Cruisers, Back to the Beach & A Star is Born (1976 Version with Barbra Streisand & Kris Kristofferson).
I am into classic television. They just don't make 'em like this anymore. To me, this is when television was television: I Love Lucy, The Brady Bunch, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Laverne & Shirley, What's Happening!!, The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour, The Cher Show, The Sonny & Cher Show, The Golden Girls, The Nanny, Archie Bunker's Place, Gimme a Break, Alice, The Carol Burnett Show & Mama's Family. I love to do scene reenactments of movies & TV shows with my friends. I know it's crazy, but it's true. LOL
