About Me
Serendipity: Look for something, find something else, and realize that what you've found is more suited to your needs than what you thought you were looking for ~ Lawrence Block
3/3/13: (This made for a great movie, and I truly believed it at one point....but not so sure I believe in it anymore, see update = bottom)
i have been described by my friends as having a sweet-spirit, genuine, caring, and committed.
Very passionate person who wears my heart on my sleeve. Love to laugh and smile and be 'goofy'.
I enjoy doing my volunteer work w/the USO and have a huge respect for our military men/women. I enjoy a night out, just as much as i enjoy a night in watching a movie. Not a huge partier, but do like to have fun, and in a comfortable situation, can easily be the life of the party. I enjoy walks in the park and working out, swimming mostly. Traveling, museums, and finding hidden places to eat or walk.
IMPORTANT: I understand there is always going to be drama, failure, chaos, inconveinces and etc. These are a fact of life. How you react demonstrates what type of ATTITUDE you have.
I also enjoy: spending time w/family & friends, anything chocolate, watching sports, dogs, wings, snow/rain storms, long rides, laughing, people watching, twisted tea & shots that taste like hawaiin punch, the sun, movies, concerts, local bands, getting my hair/nails done, the laughter of a child, the smell of coffee, window shopping, travel, music, a 2nd date, swimming, walking my dogs, cooking, driving at night, surprises, making people laugh, pasta, doing something nice for others, a ride on the back of a motorcycle, board games, cookouts, camping, hiking, and the ever popular = the beach....
Music taste varies, but can pretty much listen to anything, you would laugh if you saw my ipod!
ps) unless you are in the picture WITH the following items, i do not care to see pics of your truck/car, jacuzzi, boat, and/or motorcyle....just be a good guy ;)
3/3/13: Just getting back on this site after being off for awhile. All of the above is still true, just not so much into believing the whole "serendipity", "fate", or "everything happens for a reason" thing anymore. Some advice: please make sure you know what you want before you get on here. I have met some men on here that have indicated they were interested in a serious relationship, when they really had no idea what they wanted. Bottom line, don't blow sunshine in my face, buy me red roses for Valentine's Day, only to tell me a month later that you "are not ready" = Don't waste my time, & I won't waste yours.... just sayin'.
