Wow! Online dating... this is crazy! Things sure have changed. I believe this is one of the hardest parts of this process. Trying to tell someone who you really are, and that they get what you are trying to say. Difficult to do in an email. Attraction is a start, but the only true way to get to know someone is to talk, meet, and through time, learn about each other.
My ideal man... would have many of the qualities listed below:
Honesty, integrity, and attentiveness are qualities that I value highly. But to really win me over, he would be handsome, confident, sincere, humorous, outdoorsy, outgoing, and athletic. Someone that is patient and understanding, but at the same time strong and in control. A man who knows how to COMMUNICATE, can plan a romantic surprise, has time for a relationship, and has his own interests and hobbies. A man who knows what he wants, says what he means!
**UPDATE: must be SINGLE, that means not MARRIED!
***UPDATE-MUST BE SINGLE, DIVORCED, or WIDOWED - that means NOT MARRIED, SEPARATED, or IN A RELATIONSHIP!
****NEW UPDATE-APPARENTLY I'M HAVING TROUBLE COMMUNICATING ...
TO ME, SINGLE, DIVORCED, or WIDOWED also means NOT in a RELATIONSHIP!
I have two amazing sons ages 15 and 17 and love being their mom. I find pleasure in the simple things in life. I believe in love and have a lot to give. I’m healthy, feel young, and enjoy having fun. I’m active, energetic, playful, passionate, and honest, with strong values. I have a great family (parents who love each other and have been married over 59 years), and wonderful friends. I enjoy the outdoors, beach, mountains, river, houseboating at Lake Mead, Cabo, camping in Glamis and Ocotillo Wells, weekend getaways, traveling, and relaxing in the sun with a good book. At the same time, I love quite nights at home, curling up by the fire, watching movies with the right person, barbecuing with friends and family, dining out, and an occasional shopping spree.
Life is Great... But I would Love to Share it with Someone Special!
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take...
but by the number of moments that take our breath away.
Looking forward to having more of those moments!
Okay, not the first meeting or date, but hopefully in the future.
