About Me
About me: Six years ago I volunteered to mobilize after 9/11, and I just got off active duty. I have spent the last three years stationed in New Orleans. Yes, it's everything you heard about. But, Southerners are the kindest, sweetest people you will ever meet, I miss NOLA already.
I'm generally a family oriented guy. I enjoy spending time with my son, even though he's a teenager. I like all kinds of activities, I tend to stick with what I know. I like working out in the gym, kickboxing, and karate. Mountain biking and biking are awesome. I love to snow ski. Golf is ok, but I really suck at it.
While stationed at Pearl Harbor, I learned to scuba dive. So one of my dream vacations would be a scuba adventure in tropical clime, preferably near pirate treasure. Old ship wrecks would be ok too. I've always wanted to go to Jamaica or Bermuda. I have also heard that some of the other smaller island are better though.
I like adventure and have had a lot of it in my life. However, skydiving, hot ballooning, camping, fishing, mountain climbing, flying planes are activities I choose not to participate in. Same thing goes for bungie jumping, sail boarding, and cow tipping. I would rather have a nice dinner and conversation with an interesting woman.
I do have some guilty pleasures. On Sunday mornings I make pancakes, brew coffee, and read the paper, for hours. Watching movies on rainy days are the norm too. Cold beer on a hot afternoon. Kisses in public. The usual stuff.
