I've been off POF for awhile, and now I'm back to give it another shot (not that it worked out in the past, but here I am again). I thought I would rewrite my profile, but the one thing that hasn't changed is that it's still tough to figure out what to say.
I'll just lay out the basics, and hopefully I'll be able to grab your attention with a clever, witty message that will compel you to reply (not that it worked in the past, is this a pattern?). I've been divorced for about 10 years, no issues with my ex, two kids who are 15 and 11 (and currently live out of state), I generally like to be silly/sarcastic (most things seem that way to me), and I tend to prefer outdoor activities but not hunting and rarely fishing (I say live and let live about the fish and animals, unless I'm hungry and in that case, someone else can do the killing). Things like skydiving, rock climbing, hiking, motorcycles, skiing, snowboarding, just about anything as long as I end up in a real bed with a real shower at the end of the day (camping is reserved for very special occasions, I'm pretty much over sleeping on the ground).
Side note - I don't expect/require anyone to like/do/try any of the activities I listed above. I have like-minded friends who I do those things with, and that's only one part of my life. I spend more time doing 'regular' things like working and everyday 'life' stuff, just like everyone else (you can't play all day, even if you want to).
As far as what I'm looking for? If I knew that answer to that question, I'd already have it. I guess all I can say is let's chat and see if you're it?
I do have pics, I'll attach one if I send you a message, or just ask if you send me one......
I'm up for anything that makes you comfortable and allows you to relax and be yourself. This seems like a weird question to answer without knowing who you're going out with. I think a hike in Whipps Ledges for some climbing or rappelling would be a great first date, but only with someone who likes that sort of thing. I also think I night out to a great restaurant for dinner and drinks would fit the bill, again, based on who you're with.
