About Me
I am not very good at writing about myself (well actually I am not very good at writing period). You can see from my list of interests what I enjoy, so it would probably help if we like to do some of the same things. My spare time is limited and I prefer to spend it doing things I enjoy but that doesn't mean I am not open to trying something new now and then.
As for music, my taste is varied. I like metal, punk, reggae, some country, some electronic/house/trance/techno (though I couldn't tell you the difference between any of them), some old-school rap. My favorite music though is 80's. I love listening to all the stuff I grew up with. Going to live music shows is always fun as well.
Traveling is one of my favorite things to do. I try to take at least one trip a year, preferably someplace that requires me to get on an airplane and use my passport!
I enjoy watching tv as well(probably too much of it, damn Tivo!!!) - sitcoms and dramas, sports, a bit or reality tv, and History Channel. Movies at home or the theater are always fun too!
As for what I am looking for, someone who is funny, athletic, fit, smart (and a bit of a smart-ass), compassionate, family-oriented, young at heart, and loves to travel. Bonus points if you are a dog-lover!! Someone who lives a pretty quiet life. I am not into clubbing or going to Vegas every other weekend. One last thing, and I would think this would be obvious but I am finding it's not, but I am looking for someone that wants to talk, spend time together and get to know each other, not just have a text-messaging relationship with your cell phone. Call me old-fashioned, but if texting is your primary form of communication than we probably won't be a good match.
Please pass me by if you smoke, do drugs, or don't regularly see the inside of a gym and eat rather healthy. Fitness has been a big part of my life (I even work in the industry) for a long time so I would like someone who lives a similar lifestyle.
