About Me
I want to experience all that I can - the good and the bad...., life is too short not to! OK - I'm mostly looking for the good part since I've had some of the bad and......enough already! Realistically, I know no one ever "gets it all" but, hey, it's the journey and not the destination, right? I like hiking, try to work out at least 3 times a week,time with friends and family. I try my best best to eat a healthy diet but every once in a while, well...I just need some chocolate!! I like travelling (by motorcycle or a car, if I have to), relaxing, working out, hi energy, low energy - both ends of the spectrum I like hanging in a crowd,listening to music and watching people or challenging myself on a local hiking trail. Love to dance (although I will admit, it's been a while) - love to meet people - like to do adventurous things - even if it's just once ('cause if I don't like it - I'm probably not gonna do it again! LOL).
I like weekend trips to exciting cities or just to the mountains to relax in front of a fire in a cabin in the woods. I enjoy doing things that make me happy, including volunteering for things I think are important in life. A lot of my time is spent doing community service and giving back to those that have given so much. So, really, it's not just about me. I believe in the freedoms that people have fought and died for, free enterprise, working hard, playing hard....good karma. There are some issues that I'm very passionate about....I am a conservative...so if you're a liberal, we can be friends and agree to disagree... but I've found that it is important to have similar views on the world when looking for a long term relationship.
To describe the type of man that I'm looking for would be impossible because I have found that I am attracted to different people for different reasons. There are many qualities to which I'm attracted....qualities like openness, honesty, self-reflection, soulfullness, humility, compassion, a sense of honor and ethic. Of course, chemistry is important along with physical attraction and an intellectual connection. So I try not to limit myself ....I'm looking for a number of things ....friendship, the chance to grow personally and emotionally and maybe....just maybe a soul mate.
In retrospect...I like where I've been....looking ahead, I'm excited about where I'm going.
