About Me
I'm a straight forward guy. Honest, respectful, independent, a man of my word. I value spontaneity and an outgoing personality. I try to explore new places or go to familiar spots via new routes and spend most of my time outdoors if possible. I studied Forestry, am working towards a career in fire management and am fortunate enough to both believe in and very much enjoy what I do. I love to cook and friends tend to drop by near about an hour before dinner, so I think that's good. I can bake real bread, not just bannock, however the secrets of pie crust elude me. New restaurants are always sought and welcomed but never under estimate the tried and true experience of Bon's breakfast. Vancouver knows what I'm saying. I've always been a dog guy and love being around them, but unfortunately I dont have the time to have one at this point in my life. Training and consistency is a must and I am happy to share what I know if you are having trouble.
During down time I sail, explore new trails, snowboard, fish, get lost in my jeep or anything else that will keep me outside on an adventure.
I get my kicks from creative and spontaneous living, seeing new and exciting places, meeting new people, all sorts of live music from country to hip-hop, and I feel my best when dancing to Funk, D'n'b, techno or a sweet break beat. Sometimes I hang out and watch the world go by in a busy place and will always stop to smell a rose. Lots can happen if you slow down enough to notice. A pot of coffee is a must every morning. Books are great and I like to read a lot. My great plan includes one day sailing to the Mediterranean to eat olives, fresh bread and cheese, look on ancient steps, and explore historical sites throughout the area. Right now I am learning guitar and I think at this point youtube needs solid props. If you're a Leafs fan, hmmmm....Sens 'till I die. Ottawa born and raised. Beer, wine, and whiskey. Not necessarily in that order.
So, what am I looking for? Ultimately, I would be happy to commit again one day but only if something really clicks. For now, I'm looking to make new friends and see who's around this wonderful city. I like to date and have a comfortable and open attitude towards sex, but that doesn't mean I'm just out to hook up with people. It means I am frank and honest which I think is a good place to start. I am attracted to women that are fit and take care of themselves. I lead a very active lifestyle and work to stay in shape (as both a lifestyle choice and a job requirement). Bums over breasts, but both are best. I've just always been a bum guy first. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
