FIRST: I do not practice any religion... and probably would not be compatible with someone with a very strong active church affiliation.
Just relocated from Conway, New Hampshire for a temporary position in engineering in Lenexa, Kansas.
Leaving a son, his wife, and two grandsons near Portland, Maine.

Dreams are free….. that is a good thing !!!
I had planned to go to Belize for a month in Jan 2014 to investigate possibility of moving there. It turns out that moving there is VERY expen$sive....and.....the homicide rate makes it one of the most dangerous places in the Caribbean. (According to the US State Department website) So.... that will not happen.
My last retirment will take place in December this year (2013)... and new horizons beckon.....
There are things to learn, much to experience, and places to see.....hopefully there will be someone with whom to share it all.

I am sensitive and affectionate man who would love to have one enthusiastic woman to share life with.
Realistic expectations are so important to success in the business of everyday living, and more importantly, in relationships with each other.
Daily life should not be a 'struggle' between partners.
I like to be active....dancing, biking, learning.....would love to have someone to do fun things with.
I taught a variety of technical courses at college level, and have made my living as a writer for several years..
With an electrical background and an electrician's license, I have been known to work for food ... :-)
Life and everything in it, is either an 'ordeal', or an 'adventure'...depending on your attitude.
Baseball, hockey, football and other organized team sports hold no interest for me. I am not a very good spectator... do not watch much TV.
My motto ?? "Work like you don't need the money, love like you've never been hurt, and dance like nobody's watching"...
Politics confuses me... I don't understand it. ( And what I do understand, I don't like)
Downhill sking, ballroom dancing, bicycling, woodworking, photography, writing, learning, travel... just a few other interests....AND.......I am a Master Gardener and wrote the gardening column for a local paper for some time.
