Hi, I'm Ken!
I'm not pretending to be something I'm not. But I am also looking for someone who likes to have fun and is as active as I am. I'm a good guy and will respond if you email me. I won't be negative or mean... I'll be honest... cause that's where it all starts!
That said... I think it is time to add this new section to my profile....
What I am looking for is a younger 35 - 48 good looking, slender body type woman who is looking for a great guy who is attentive and hard working. I'm not tall (I do like cowboy boots which helps a little!) but I don't have a problem with younger or taller women! As I grow older I'm preparing to do a fair amount of traveling starting in the next 5-10 years. I've prepared myself for this economically and emotionally! As you read further down, you'll find that I'm a good guy but I have pretty high standards. Some of you may say that I'm shallow... whatever... I know what I want and if I don't find it I'm certainly willing to go it alone. I don't need a relationship, just feel it would be more fun to have one. My daughter and I just got back from Riviera Maya and we had a fun filled week with four open water dives (my kiddo got certified), swimming with the dolphins, jet skiing and lots of volleyball and dancing. As my daughter heads off into her own adult life I want someone who wants to do the same type of thing on vacation. Go to Europe, Asia and enjoy some of the more fun things in life. So read on to learn more about me but if you feel that we have similar interests... give me a shout.
Anyway... I'm divorced and have a great 12 year old daughter who rocks my world. I keep myself in shape and am looking for similar. I work hard and love to play hard. I am very social and like to get out and explore. I've traveled a lot internationally for work, and for the past 4.5 years I have commutedto Atlanta... hmmm can you guess who I am working for (The travelling is done for now... just once a month... being home at night is so weird!)
I've been very fortunate to have some great opportunities and I am hoping for more. I used to waterski professionally and still hold my own!
I've learned a lot over the past few years. I was laid off from a very senior position in January of 2009 and it was the most stressful period of my life. I learned that good people do get laid off and it will change my perspective forever. I was fortunate to have the right credentials to jump in with the airlines in April. While I'm a few steps below from where I started, I am contracting independently which really helps on the financial side.
I'm looking for someone who cares about their bod as much as I do. I never get guessed over 41 and watch what I eat very closely. I never want to be one of those beer gut guys! It's just not fair! I think we both have to be respectful of each other and try hard! I like someone who enjoys humor and can still party like a rock star...getting away is important. I love kids and welcome someone who has some. I don't want to be a dad again, but can certainly fill in as a step!
First dates are rough... you always want to come up with something that is fun, creative and romantic...but that is tough because you really don't know the other person. So...realistically, I usually suggest something a little out of the ordinary to see where the other person is at. Maybe Sushi or Indian Food to see if they are willing to go out of there comfort zone. If not, meat and potatoes works, but it does lead insight into the future.
I'm very chivalrous and still believe in that charm...so you'll be treated accordingly.
