About Me
Ah where to begin. Its seems odd trying to describe ones self in a few short paragraphs. And if we are unable does that mean we haven't lived, or is that we are just poor with being articulate about ourselves? Haha who knows, its a dating website. Anyways...
I've been really getting into cooking lately. Cooking network tv shows have been a staple, like "The next Iron Chef", "Chopped", "Worst Cooks in America". I figure if those people who put vanilla with chicken can learn how to cook, so can I. So far I make a pretty decent beer soaked brat. Coors appears to be the best beer for that..yes I know, coors.. If you have another suggest I'm always willing to try. I've gotten into trying out different rubs and marinades on chicken and beef as well. Ever try brown sugar on beef? Its actually pretty decent, oddly enough.
I used to be really into black and white photography. I want to get back into that. And nature and outdoor stuff as well. I grew up camping, but I have not been for many years. Any takers?
Family is also fairly important to me. I'm in hockey leagues with my cousins, and a few friends that are basically brothers to me. I try to head to my parents house about once a week for the big family dinner.
I enjoy watching Bears, Hawks, Fire, or soccer in general. I've gotten into the Bulls as well lately. I'm also an equal opportunist, I watch Sox and Cubs.
Besides that, I'm a person who is generally care free, and very laid back. I generally try to see things from different people's perspectives, and try to stay away from just the black and white aspect of things. I generally am not afraid to try most things, and I'll try anything once. My friends pretty much come first in my life, and i pretty much will do anything for them. I can enjoy a night out at the bars, a night at movies with friends, or just a night in. I can also go the other route with a night out camping, a night at a museum, or something i haven't done before. I'm a pretty affectionate guy, and I'm not afraid to show it when i care about a person.
I'm very sarcastic, but have been known to speak honestly about things i am passionate about. I like to quote tv shows, and movies. My friends and I also like to quote ourselves and some of the goofy things we've done or said in the past.
I currently work as a Level designer and digital artist at an arcade company. Basically when you think of a video game, when you look around the level's surroundings and overall theme? That's what i do. So its basically a cross between city planning and painting. Its pretty fun.
I'm looking for a person whom i can bring to almost any event and she'll mesh seamlessly in with my friends or family. A girl where some nights we could go out, and others we could just stay in watching a movie, and that would be ok. A person is my better half, my equal, and my friend. The person i can go to with my problems, and a person who can come to me with hers. A person i can rely on.
A girl who's not afraid to laugh, and not afraid to tell me how she's feeling, good or bad. A girl whom can roll with the punches and dish them right back at people.
I'd say a girl who's well knowledged, but also not afraid to make a fool of herself.

I've tried all sorts of dates...coffee, dinners, bowling, event, etc. But I've found just going out for a casual cup of coffee, and just going from there works out the best. Or maybe a walk in a park or something when it gets nice out.
