I realize that headline just lost 99% of you and that's ok. As time goes on we realize what is most important in life. Rather than listing it as an aside I have listed it first. Because it is what is first and is important to build a strong foundation. I am looking for friendship which could possibly lead into a long term meaningful relationship leading to marriage. I am fairly new to the area and am looking for a new church home. I tend to click best with Protestants and non denominational. I tend to be on the traditional/conservative side however I have an adventurous side. If you like the outdoors and don't mind going on a hike or bike ride then we would probably click.
I have been divorced for 13 years and if you count the separation, I have actually been single for 15 years. I have been focused on my career and furthering my education during those years. And now I am ready to meet someone and see where it goes. If I see it is not a relationship of substance and just convenience I will end it. I guess you could say I know what I want. I am established in my profession and support myself quite well in Montgomery County as a single woman. I have a job I love which I feel is meaningful and where I believe I am making a difference.
With each relationship we learn more about ourselves and also what we do and do not want.
I value open, honest communication among most anything.
Also friends first is a great philosophy.
I am a smart, funny, down-to-earth, cute, friendly lady. Looking for the same in a man. I have been complimented on my laugh and many say it is contagious. I am an extremely positive person. Life hasn't always been a bed of roses but with God I have survived and prospered.
Summer is my favorite season as I love to be outside whether it is hiking or bicycling. Picnic and a bottle of wine.
Love to explore new areas.
Excited about life and am ambitious. Very diverse interests and get along with many different types of people. Love traveling.
I grew up in the Midwest which makes me very unique. (If you are from the Midwest we would most likely click. ; ) I also lived in Hawaii for 7 years and loved every minute of it.
I am a Christian who attends church on a regular basis. I would prefer a man who does also. We don't have to attend the same church but I feel there should be a belief in God there. It makes for a stronger relationship. I do not push my beliefs on others but prefer to meet someone who already has the belief system in place, if that makes sense.
Also I am educated with 2 Masters degrees (Masters in Nursing Administration and MBA) but have a down to earth personality. I prefer a man who is educated also but down to earth.
I tend to be a bit conservative and am not an extremist. I do things in moderation and prefer someone who does also (if that makes sense).
Animal lover. I can be adventurous and a lot of fun. Love day trips or weekend getaways.
I laugh a lot. Just ask the people I associate with. Life is good. On that note I tend to surround myself with positive people who laugh often. :)
If anything sparked an interest here, feel free to leave me a message.
Good luck with your search! :D
Some additional things to consider. :)
(Also note I am not obsessed with Christmas. I do love that time of the year and I thought christmascarol was a catchy name when I created it. POF won't allow me to change it.)
Also bonus points if you have a car AND drive. LOL! ;)
Something to look forward to......I am a great cook as I have been told. I love to cook meals for my man. (That would be more when we are in a serious, committed relationship though. I don't cook for just anyone.)
And finally I am not a pursuer. If I have had more than one conversation with you, then I am interested. So be a man and take a chance and take it further!
A cup of coffee and casual conversation to get to know each other. Quiet dinner, etc. Something we can decide on together or better yet, surprise me with a plan. :D
