I am not into superficial or material things, and prefer that the person I am with (either as friends or more) also shares the same values. I am environmentally conscience and do care about universal rights both for humans as well as animals. I am close to family and friends and believe in the basic principles of high morals, ethics and honesty. I am a very open and straight forward person, and expect the same from any person I am with. Although appearances are not top priority, I do expect the person I am with to take good care of themselves and to be presentable to friends and family as I would do the same.
I've had a chance to travel quite a bit in my life which I found to be very rewarding. I've spent a lot of time in Europe (did some schooling there when I was younger) and South America. I try to live every moment with passion and a love for what I am doing. I have a passion for learning new things and exploring different ways of doing things. I am always striving to keep my mind active and to push myself that extra mile. My hobbies/interests include playing violin, piano, drawing, painting, photography, cooking, traveling etc. I also enjoy learning languages and speak Portuguese and French (so bilinguals are definitely welcome) - I just haven't had time to rewrite this profile in those languages.
