Hello, I'm Rrricardo. Be sure to roll the r's I AM latino you know ;>) I'm Puerto Rican born and raised in New Jersey and am the eldest of 4. I've just relocated to Fremont from after living in Miami for 16yrs. Allow me to get the ball rolling with this business and sum myself up for you in one word: Passionate. I can describe passion as: "Capable of having, showing and expressing strong emotion or desire." Are you Passionate? I don't hold back. I say what I mean and mean what I say. Although, sarcasm DOES have it's roots in my character so, if you can handle that you're in the running ;>)
I'd have to say the kind of woman that I'm most attracted to would be a modern girl but a modern lady as well. Someone who presents and conducts herself in a respectful manner and is positive, confident, patient, open-minded, has a good sense of humor & who is emotionally mature. Although, if you've got a little bit of a wild streak in you that couldn't hurt either ;>) Ok, let me break it all down for those of you who have read up to this point: I need someone who's real. Someone who is secure with herself and is mature. Someone I can count on. Someone who can communicate and is a good listener. I need someone who I can relate to, who can make important rational decisions when necessary and is open-minded towards all that life has to offer. Save the swingers lifestyle. Not exactly my thing ;>) I expect you to be loyal and respectful. Above all, I need someone who will love me for who I am. I'm comfortable in my skin and can simply be me.
So should you.
Let's talk about gender roles for a sec cause girls can sometimes have a preconception about the subject cause I'm latino. So, for those of you who are not exactly sure what I'm referring to, I'll now explain. You see, traditional latino households have the woman cooking, cleaning & taking care of babies while the man brings home the bacon..and that's about it. One hell of a setup huh?. Well lucky for you I could NEVER imagine myself living that kind of lifestyle. I even grew up seeing that in my immediate family and still wonder how the hell it ever worked. I suppose it was ok for that generation because of the era. It's just the way things were back then. Let me tell you what I believe. I'm a man with very modern day sensibilities and I believe each partner has the right to his/her own career and together, the house responsibilities should be shared. The cooking the cleaning the brushing of teeth and hair..that sort of thing. Questions on this topic should be directed to the e-mailing portion of the page ;>)
Moving on, I'd like to talk to you about music cause it's one of the things I'm most passionate about. I enjoy a great variety of music. I'm something of an on and off again guitar player so I tend to be more of a rocker/techie kinda guy. Although, what I listen to at any given time usually reflects my mood. From Jazz to Metal to Salsa or Freestyle to Hip-Hop to Electronica..I love music as a whole. Wait til you see my ipod! 10,000+ tracks & still going! Lovin it. Live shows are definitely my thing. Brownie points for you if you share the love for live music. I'm always getting tickets to see some band somewhere and if one day we're in my car driving and you said, "Hey, let's get tix for the next Brad Paisley show!", I'd be okay with that ;>) Just don't ask me to sing along LoL
Well, I think it's high time we went ahead and wrapped this thing up before I write some kinda freaking autobiography type thing. I'm going to go out on a limb here and tell you 1 thing about myself that I take pride in: The ability to change. What I mean to say is I have the pronounced ability to evolve..adapt..CHANGE . The stereo-typical quote "Take me as I am" doesn't apply with me. I'm not the same person I was during my teenage years and I'd like to think you ain't either. I've grown & matured in many ways and would expect my love interest to be able to do the same. We simply cannot live a life with blinders on. That would be absurd. As the world changes and evolves so must we. I certainly couldn't date someone that parochial..could you? There you go..
My initial choice location for a first date is usually not too formal, not too casual. Although I like to dress to impress and if you did the same you will no doubt have my complete and utter admiration as well as attention ;>) I'm new to the area so I'll probably ask you to suggest something. Maybe meeting for coffee in the afternoon or drinks over evening dinner. Let's simply relax and enjoy the time we have. Let's exchange the things that make us tick. Let's tell some funny stories and maybe, just possibly we'll click and something magical will happen ;>)
