About Me
Before I tell you what I enjoy about my life and about the things I like to do, I would first like to say one thing that underlies all: I am 50 years old now and have done enough dating to last a lifetimes. Speaking from the heart, what I seek now is that special kind of date with that special kind of woman. I am genuinely interested in seeking and experiencing a meaningful relationship and am open to what the alignment of the planets will bring. As a rule, I generally do not date women older than I, but other than that, my mind remains open to all possibilities. I am a spirited individual and enjoy doing or trying just about anything at least once. I love the outdoors and have no qualms about hopping in the car and heading off to the wine country or Lake Tahoe, down the coast or, if not, a quick hop to San Francisco to see what's going on there. I enjoy The City, enjoy walking abound on a sunny day, meeting new people, visiting with friends, having a great lunch or dinner somewhere and just generally having a good time. I also like to work out, be it at the gym or outside somewhere, perhaps for a hike or a long walk. Suffice to say I like to stay active.
I enjoy working with my hands and feel right at home creating something from scratch out of an ordinary piece of wood. I like to spend tranquil time in the garden -- planting fruit trees or growing vegetables. Home grown produce satisfies like no other!
Anyway, I guess I'm a throwback, someone who tries to stay grounded and interested in the things that really bear meaning in life. Family, friends, experiences, discoveries, laughter, good food, a good glass of wine, a little romance. I look forward to getting to know you.
P.S. My passion is mostly anything out doors, Golfing with friends, tennis, taking a long walk, bike ride all day, or a long drive on a nice day.
