My definition of a real man is someone who wants to get married and have a family with children, not someone who sleeps around and has a bunch of girlfriends. Someone who brings home a paycheck and spends it on the future of his wife and children. I'm not talking about buying his wife expensive jewelry and things, nor taking trips and vacations each weekend. Someone who spends his time with his children, not someone who would rather stay at his job until 8:00 at night in order to make a few extra dollars, while at the same time paying for a babysitter to raise his children.
Otherwise, here is what I like to do in my spare time, which I hope will lead to me meeting a great girl. In all honesty, the only thing you might not like about me is my hair length, which well, one day it will get shorter, but for now I like being a free-thinker who has long hair (plus it helps me out a lot in my line of work as a computer programmer, everybody automatically thinks I am some great programmer because I have long hair!)
I like working out, Greek dancing and music, I own an electric guitar but I don't know how to play it. I like camping and hiking in nature. I love organic food and visiting Queens farm. I follow the "Paleo Diet" which means eat very little meat, but when I do eat meat it has to be high quality meat that often includes organs such as liver, kidneys, sweetbreads...etc It also means to eat no or very few grains, very little dairy and as many vegetables that are minimally cooked.
I love to cook. I love Kimchi.
I value family, relationships and friends. I like reading about history, learning about other cultures.
I also like working on ipad/android apps in my spare time, but only very rarely. (I once wrote an iphone app that tells you what to wear based on the weather)
I also have a food blog "Would John Eat It" and I love researching articles about health and spreading the word to people to help make them healthier and happier! Most of the time people love reading articles about weight loss and healthy skin. I also believe that eating healthy helps you age gracefully and allows you to maintain a calm, healthy persona. I.e. don't get angry easy like some people do.
