I'm Matt. I go to school in Vermont, and I live in both NH and MA for various reasons. I normally wouldn't be home for the summer, but things happen and this time I will be.
I'm an engineering student and I love what I do. The oddities perk my attention very quickly, and nothing distracts me more than an intricate piece of machinery, old stuff, and anything operated by steam.
I majored in music in high school, and if you're wondering how that works just ask. I can play anything made of brass or with frets, and you're welcome to challenge me on that. My idea of lulling someone isn't a chicken-scratch 5-chord country song, but a legitimate composition. I'm not gonna say I'm an amazing composer, but I write stuff and it sounds good.
I'll toot my own horn here (hah... brass) and say about my jazz band. Yea, my jazz band. Haha, I love em to death, I pulled out the old equipment for a band that hasn't performed in at least 4 years and rebuilt an 18 piece big band. Couldn't have done it without willing members, but it's interesting and something I'm very proud of; mostly pride in the members, or otherwise friends of mine.
I'd let my friends, my family, and God view anything I do on the internet without shame, so if you talk to me please be appropriate. That's also saying I'll send you replies that are respectable.
Oh, and ask me about the military. It's all sorts of complicated, but if you talk to me it will eventually come up. I'm not hiding anything, but I don't need to brag about it. People who do bother me.
I'm looking for someone to do stuff with. I will be starting my smithy up again, and any girl who is interested in trying to be a blacksmith has already won my heart. I'd definatly love to work with you.
I rock climb, the legit stuff and the gym. I rappel in some pretty random places, and nothing is cooler than a picnic and rappelling, so that'd be a nice date. Hiking is also awesome, and I have a pretty big trip planned, so please tell me if interested.
