Hi there,
I am looking for the special someone - to have fun, to share a laugh, to experiment with new foods, to discuss how whacked our political situation is, to argue philosophy and of course hold hands while strolling through the farmers market during a hot Saturday morning :)
I am looking for someone who is OK with himself, who knows what he is about and is not afraid to stop and ask for directions
You do not need to be rich or have your life perfectly together, but you must be considerate, curious, honest and know how to communicate, since I do not know how to read minds, and would not do it even if I did because that would be rude :(
The most important thing you need to know about me is that I live by this motto (actually an Einstein quote):
"I want to know God's thoughts...the rest are details." And this is very important information because if you are not OK with that kind of personality, we will probably not get along very well. And please note, this is not about religion at all - got some people thinking I was proselytizing or trying to get them to join a cult or some such thing :)
Now to some trivial information :)
I love books and I will talk about them with the same enthusiasm as you would talk about the super bowl. I investigate and question everything - which to some is paranoid, too me is just making sure that the beliefs I hold are sound and make sense.
I am an extremely good cook, but I hate cleaning up afterwards.
I enjoy political/economical/scientific lectures - they are as entertaining to me as the Kardashians are to some people - please note however, no judgments here, I am a live and let live sort of person, so whatever rocks your boat.

I read metaphysical books
I am not hung up on money, but make sure to pay my bills
I have lived elsewhere and the world is indeed fantastic
I take good care of myself and if anything is girly about me is my refusal to look my real age :)
I cuss when I am mad, but that is a rare state of mind
I am miss bossy pants at work - but hate having to do the same at home
I make jewelry as an artistic outlet - and every day I look at some fantastic piece of art as it lets me know there is something special about us human beings after all
I listen to very loud music, and I am afraid I will end up deaf
I don't give my opinion where not asked, but I am blunt to a fault when I do, I am not good at sugar coating
I am affectionate and like to hold hands - so you must be OK with that.
I am a parent with my priorities straight, so you must be OK with that too.
