About Me
I mountain bike when the weather is nice, hence the username. When it's dark or when the weather sucks I'll stay inside and watch TV shows on Netflix, practice violin, or try out some new recipe that I've found online. Occasionally I'll go play badminton or go shooting with some old coworkers, and I've been known to hit a bar with my friends now and then. Fresh, deep powder when I'm snowboarding is one of the few things that will make me damn near giddy, and I'll usually go on one big snowboarding trip during the year to try to find that perfect snow-covered run.
I work an IT job where putting in 40 to 50 hours a week is average. I love what I do, but I have to admit sometimes the frantic, thoughtless pace frustrates me. I'm a loyal friend and a man of my word. My morals are a bit on the old-fashioned side of the spectrum, which means I prefer getting to know someone instead of just having a one night stand, and I like "good girls" who actually try to be good. If you're into fitness, hiking, biking, or any of the stuff I listed above, we will get along just fine :)

First Date
I'm a "hang out and have coffee" for the first date kind of guy. Quick, easy to escape from for both parties, and usually allows you to avoid interrogation-style seating (starting at each other from across a dinner table in a restaurant). I'm good with dinner, but I still like it to be something casual. Hiking and biking are also great, but I think that requires a bit of extra bravery on your part.
