About Me
I have decided to update my profile and be as blatantly honest as possible and not sugarcoat anything. So here goes...
Me: I'm a 24 y.o. single Mom that is still struggling to lose baby weight. I love my job even though it means my schedule sucks and I rarely have free time at the normal "social hours". My days off are 99% of the time taken up by my amazing 2 year old son. I do manage to make time to have fun when it is planned in advance. I care about what others think of me way more then I should and I will bend over backwards to please those I care about. No matter how hard I try, I can't put myself first. I'm looking for someone who, after taking the time to get to know me, actually thinks I'm worth the trouble of dealing with my hectic schedule and accepts that I am a package deal. While I don't expect you to be ready to be a parent over night, because it will be a LONG time before my son becomes a part of this relationship, I need you to be understanding of the fact that my son is and always will come first and be open to the potential of meeting my son and becoming a part of his life. I don't do one night stands or FWB or any other weird casual concepts you can come up with. I've never voted in the 6 years I've been able to legally do so but that doesn't make me any less of an American. I have 3 tattoos that each have a meaningful story behind it, I have plans for more but it takes time because I don't do pointless tattoos. If you do, that's fine, it's your body.
You: You actually have goals and aspirations that you are at least in the process of achieving. You don't do drugs. At all. Ever. I used to be okay with marijuana but not anymore, between work and being a Mom it is just not something I'm comfortable being around. If you "used to" do drugs then I may be okay with that as long as it is completely out of your life. You wear your hat like a normal person and you actually know how to smile for a picture on occasion instead of trying to mean mug it like the thug that you really aren't. If you're a hockey fan that's awesome, bonus if you're a Sharks fan. Some level of patriotism is appreciated due to my military upbringing. I don't care what your beliefs are as far as religion, politics etc. Just don't try to shove them down my throat if mine differ from yours. You have some random, awesome skill that you can teach to me. Your taste in music is fairly eclectic. You can quote a Pauly Shore movie, not a must but it'd be a plus!
So my truthfulness may hurt my chances but hey why waste anytime. If you have a problem with any of this feel free to let me know, I'm always interested in a good debate. Or if you're intrigued by it then by all means share your thoughts.
