The world is my playground. I was born in India, raised in London, schooled in Boston and for the last 10 years call myself a New Yorker. I have a varied group of friends and a very close knit family. I thoroughly enjoy exploring new places, cultures and customs and luckily, my job contributes to my travelbug and allows me to jetset to some amazing destinations, but its always more fun with a special someone by my side.
Oddly enough, despite all the travel, its always great to fly back home to NYC. I enjoy what the city has to offer and like to bike in the summers down the east river bike path - on good days landing up by the GW bridge. I have recently taken up tennis and am constantly looking for indoor courts in the city. Can't wait for Spring - a long walk in Central Park is amazingly inspirational and gets even better when it includes a picnic, outdoor concert or movie.
I consider myself an optimist and the glass is half full from where I stand! Friends describe me as fun-loving, dynamic and loyal. I am the eternal problem-solver and thankfully have a job that makes me do just that. I enjoy meeting people and true to my extroverted personality find that I can strike up a conversation with just about anyone. I like people who don't take themseleves too seriously - life is full of ups and downs and humor is a vital tool to get through things.
Honestly, a great first date isn't location bound - we could be sitting in a pub, by the water or just about anyplace as long as we are enjoying each others company, communicating and getting to know each other.
