About Me
Me - I'm a happy girl. I think most things just don't have to be all that complicated.
I've been blessed to find a career I love, and that loves me back (I'm a scientist; more later if you're interested), so I am one of the rare folks who are really doing what they want with their lives. I'm so grateful for that.
My job and my life keep me pretty busy, so I'm not a party girl... my idea of a great night is having friends over for a good meal and wine, or barbecue and beer on a summer evening. I LOVE to cook, so if you hang out with me, you'll be pressed into taste tester duty before very long.
I have two horses and two big ol' Labradors... I suspect one of them used to be a rocket scientist in a previous life, and the other was probably the Dalai Lama. My animals are a big part of my life - if you're allergic, we're probably not a good fit.
I enjoy meeting people from different walks of life from me. Who are you? What's your story? I bet you have one worth telling...
I'm a little bit allergic to needy... I'm a grown woman with a rich, full life, and I want somebody to walk with me and be my partner, my man. Someone strong enough and loyal enough to always have my back, and trust that I have his. Strange world, that that kind of mutual partnership and commitment is "old-fashioned" these days...
then again, online dating is just plain strange... good luck to all of us.
