About Me
I like books and Halo, mostly. I'm a basically a bibliophile with a knack for playing video games and writing. My favorite thing to eat is cheese fries and my favorite beer is Dogfish Head's Pangaea. I don't trust people that like to run (especially people that like to run on treadmills) and I am the least domesticated woman in the world.
I moved up to the Bay Area in August of 2011 to pursue an MFA in Poetry from Saint Mary's. I'm not really sure what I plan on doing with that degree (besides making millions by selling my poems) but I guess I just figured I should follow my heart while I still had the resources/support to do so. I'm currently unemployed so I can focus on finishing my thesis--I'm graduating in May, 2013. Ultimately, I'd like to wind up publishing some poems and working at a job where I can make enough money to be comfortable, possibly teaching college classes at night.
I'm pretty sarcastic so you shouldn't message me if you hate sarcasm. I'm certainly unique (actually, I'm probably teetering on the edge of weird), but everyone would say that about themselves and I'm not going to try to prove it in a text box, so just message me if you want to figure it out for yourself.
Also, my music taste is so varied that I cannot possibly begin to cover it in this text box, so let's just say that I only ever listen to CCR and Celine Dion. EVER.

I'm pretty easygoing about first dates. I really like dive bars that aren't too loud/crowded. I'm also unsure of why I would get more responses if I made this description really long. Like, how specific should I be getting?
I would like you to take me to Europe on your private yacht, which has an unlimited supply of champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, which I'll never eat because I'd rather drink all the champagne. When we get to Europe, I'd like you to take me shopping in Paris for all the fancy things I could ever ask for, including cars. And purebred puppies. Oh, and you need to make sure I have my own suite in whichever hotel we stay (because I'm not that type of girl). Thanks.
