About Me
Hello! I first want to point out that I am disabled. I am visually and hearing impaired. I have worn hearing aids since I was 5 years old. I can hear fine with them (no need to know sign language!) I am also "legally blind" I have about 8 degrees of central vision, which mean I can basically see everything thats in front of me. At night or in dim lighting is where I have the most problem, and during those times, I need assistance- just holding on to my friends/family shoulders do fine. I function just like a regular person, it is not noticeable as you can tell in my pictures (except for the occasional tripping over or bumping into someone!) I have a job, but I don't drive (gave that up in 1999) However, I can get around to anywhere I want to go using public transportation!
I am disclosing this as I tried going the other route, of not saying anything until later, but that just led to never hearing from a past date again! So, I have it out and up front- if this would not be a problem for you, please read more about me below- if it is a problem for you, I wish you all the best- I will be fine without you! :o)
I am very active, easy going, affectionate, warm, down to earth, and love to laugh! I like finding local community events with live music. I enjoy spending time at the theme parks, attending sporting events, classic car shows, outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing, people watching, going to the beach or hanging at the pool. Snuggling on the couch watching a movie is a great thing to do as well! As long as the company I'm with is good, I am pretty much up for anything!
I was married for 19 years, been divorced for almost 3. I have a 20 year old son who is on his own with his little family (yes, I am a Grandma!) I also have a 15 year old son that lives with me. I am ok with you having kids of your own!
