About Me
I’m originally from Madison, went school at UW Platteville where I graduated as an Industrial Engineer, and came to Waterloo for work. Since I am from Wisconsin, I am a Badger fan, Packer fan, and Brewer fan. I’m neutral on the NBA so, if the Bucks to good, hooray…I guess ;).
I love my job...I get to work with robots, engines, and it challenges me every day. We do not have any standards for choosing robots nor do we have many standards for automation, in general. For that reason (and my love for automation), I am working my way to a position where I can determine what those standards are. On occasion, I get to travel for my job which is pretty neat.
In my free time, I like to golf, bowl, play pool, run, mountain bike, snowmobile, and work on my truck and house. One of my favorite things to do is watch Spike on Saturday mornings since they have a lot of car shows on. After all, I'm an engineer and have been working on things with engines since I was 12. I'm also up to trying just about anything at least once.
I like to travel whenever I get the chance; both domestically and internationally. My top places include Australia, New Zealand, and the Dominican Republic. Hopefully, within the next few years I go to Germany.
Since my family and roots are in Wisconsin, I try to get back there every month or two.
What I'm looking for in a woman is one who has a good head on her shoulders. She should enjoy her job or at least have an idea of where she wants to be and is actively working to get there. Essentially, I'm looking for someone who is not looking to get by with the bare minimum and any challenges she may meet along the way, she doesn't run from. Of course, she has to have a good sense of humor. It would also be a plus if she likes to travel and doesn't mind spur-of-the-moment road trips.
