I love to laugh and am happy go lucky 99% of the time. I am passionate about living life to the fullest, not sweating the small stuff, focusing on the positive and making wonderful memories. I get so excited about what the day will bring that if I wake up at 3:00a.m., I stay up because I am too excited to get my day going.
I like to do many things; I am an artist so I draw, paint and create often. Focusing on learning to master watercolors right now. There is nothing more fun than letting go with paint. Everyone can paint, there are no rules. Need a painting lesson? I love photography too, it is amazing what wonderful things are out there to shoot if you just pay attention.
I am not much of a couch potato, but if I do watch TV it is if the Boston teams are on or the Nat Geo and Smithsonian channel. I would rather sit quietly and learn something new or just be creative making something cool. I can be a bit spontaneous and really like giving surprises to the one I am with. So if I say “honey put that blindfold on” you have to trust me.
I recently took up playing the djembe African drum, which is amazing and lots of fun. I am really up for trying anything.
I am at my happiest by water or the ocean and I even like to fish. (taking the fish off the hook, not so much, you can do that please) I had a place by the ocean once and it is my goal to make that happen again.
The world out there is so big and interesting to me which makes me yearn to travel. I have been to Ireland, England, Italy, a lot of the U.S. the Bahamas and on a few cruises. If you have the travel bug, then come on let’s go! Next, I would love to go to India, Japan, on a Safari or go to Greece. I like to learn about other cultures. What is next who knows? ;)
I have studied on my own and have taken classes in holistic and metaphysical topics. I am Reiki II certified and know a lot about energy and am highly intuitive. These topics never get old to me as there is so much to learn. I have a degree in Art and my Bachelors is in Business Administration. I use both in my work as a consultant. I love helping small businesses grow by sharing my wizardry in Marketing, Website Development, Sales and Business Planning. I also have clients I market for and design and redesign websites. Event planning is another thing I do and have planned and executed some pretty big events. It is hard work but definitely worth it.
As far as me personally, people have told me that I light up a room, (must be the red hair) You definitely cannot lose me in a crowd or at a sporting event lol. I consider myself very caring, loyal, true to self, funny, romantic and passionate. If a man can make me laugh, that is it, I melt. That is quite enough about me, would love to learn about you. Drop me a line.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
I would love to go somewhere quiet to talk and see if there is a chemistry. Going to a museum or somewhere fun to enjoy would be great. Anywhere where we can see each other eye to eye.
This is the type of man I am attracted to:
I am really attracted to a gentleman with a good sense of humor. As I said above, if someone can make me laugh, I am putty in their hands. I would love a great guy who does not mind dressing to the nines and going out for a nice dinner every once in awhile or dressing in a Patriots tee shirt to watch the game with me. (I love to cook too, so they must be a good eater) It would be nice to be with someone who has some goals to go after even if they fail, because every failure gets you closer to success. I am a big supporter and great cheerleader. I really need a person who loves to LIVE not just exist.
A beautiful person, where it all comes from within, who does not mind trying new things, does not have to always follow a plan and can be a little spontaneous. For example, we could close our eyes and point on a map to a place to go. Hit the road and explore along the way or take a drive nowhere where and end up somewhere that you both end up loving and stay for a night.
I consider myself pretty intelligent, so I would hope for someone who uses that part of their brain. I am loyal, so I expect the same. A great value system and manners are a must. But an occasional food fight works.
Please don't be prejudice, as I think everyone is special in their own way. I would rather talk things out than fight, I love to snuggle, read the Sunday paper together in bed and make a great meal together and take care of each other every day. Allow time for ourselves and to be with our respective friends, and accept each other for who we are and not attempt to manipulate or try to change the other. At this stage of the game, we are who we are and we cannot help but come with some baggage, it is more about understanding, compassion and viewing things fresh and new.
I don't mind if someone has children as long as they can balance it all. I enjoy kids very much as I never had any of my own. I borrow my friends’ kids and take them cool places often or teach them something new. I think I am just a kid at heart and it would be great if that special someone was too.
Being kind will put a twinkle in my eyes, great kissers are a must, smiling and hugging and public displays of affection is encouraged and being old fashioned is always welcome.
I know in my heart you are out there and I have asked the powers that be, please oh please bring that special guy to me. LOL I cannot believe I made a rhyme. Oh well that's just me.
