About Me
Love living in this City, but can say that about most everywhere I've lived. Grew up in the Midwest. Learned a thing or two about hard work and honest living. Ran off to the east coast and worked inside the beltway for 12 years. Learned a thing or two about a thing or two. Had a long 6 year layover in Texas - land of big houses, swimming pools and horse barns. Drove a SUV and joined the PTA, but didn't vote for Bush. Packed it up 5 years ago and landed on the foggy side of San Francisco with a teenage daughter, couple of wiener dogs and a rocky marriage. Some days we need a reminder that the sun will shine and the fog will clear. I can see the sun from my new perch and the view looks pretty good from here. I want to soak it all in. I appreciate the diversity in San Francisco and see it as the real definition of freedom. Love live music and appreciate the amazing opportunities afforded in this town. Got my motorcycle license. Didn't buy the bike. Did buy the boots and leather jacket. Something in my gut is telling me I make a better passenger than rider. Did I mention I have a passion for public arts education and I've worked hard at making it a reality for high school students in the Bay area? Gotta love a high school full of art students - never dull and some really spectacular moments. Sometimes consider packing it all up, buying a RV and traveling, but not yet. I haven't experienced it all and there's still another band I want to hear. San Francisco agrees with me. I uphold Emperor Norton's Proclamation of 1872. Anyone heard using the abominable word "Frisco", which has no linguistic or other warrant, should be deemed guilty of a High Misdemeanor and pay as penalty into the Imperial Treasury the sum of twenty-five dollars.
First and foremost, looking for fun and faithful friendship. Not much interested in honor and obey - more interested in a little aide and abet.
Must love wiener dogs.
