Romantic yet respectful, I enjoy music, current events, driving, reading, movies, dining out or cooking at home, conversation but quiet time also. Am easy to be with and have a very good sense of humor.
While once a guy who ran all over Manhattan where I worked for 36 years, I now favor a more relaxed style. I don't want to "do it all, see it all" in NYC (again) as do so many it seems. There is nature to see and enjoy, small towns with their book stores, museums, antique shops, coffee shops and more in the Hudson Valley or Long Island to explore and enjoy.
There is the new category on profiles where one indicates how "ambitious" they are. I put NOT ambitious. There comes a time when one considers reaping what they've sowed.
I prefer that the first date be casual, such as a drink or "coffee and". I feel the focus should be on us, not a food-covered table before us; there will be time for that on the next date. If we both want to make more of it, that door can be opened then and there!
