Marty and Newby: 2-in-1 Deal! You don’t want to miss it!
Hey there! :-) The name’s Marty, and I’m looking for a lady who loves to live life and laugh out loud like I do. Corny jokes are welcomed. Humility is encouraged.
Call me old-fashioned or cliché, but a romantic dinner and movie date or a long walk on the beach is the perfect date for me because it’s the simplest way to really get to know a person. However, I’ll rarely turn down a visit to the beach or an expedition across the States. I’ve been all around the US, from Maine to Florida to California. And as much as I like exploring new destinations, it’s the ride over that can be the most memorable. Throw in some sing-alongs and friendly banter and you’ve got me hooked!
I’m not one to jump into things and don’t mind taking things slow to see where things go, whether it be a blossoming friendship or something more. I have to warn you though, I’m a serious cuddler. My loveable service dog, Newby, might have something to do with it. Why would I need a service dog? Long story short, I’m legally blind. I have slowly lost my sight over the years and now live with a limited amount of vision (mostly lights and shadows), but that doesn’t mean I’ve lost sight of happiness. It’s not something I care to mourn or hide, but something that’s taught me how to adapt to whatever life throws at you. I know more than anyone how valuable time can be, so let’s not waste it worrying. I’d like to connect with someone who doesn’t take life too seriously but still has a bit of ambition driving them forward. Someone who likes to kick back on Sunday nights in front of the tube, chill at the bowling alley, or go for a long walk. Honesty is a must, and you can expect the same from me. Never be afraid to voice your thoughts, wants, and needs. Always pursue happiness. And of course, you’ve got to be a dog lover (and hopefully you and Newby will throw me a bone once in a while :P) So if you care to spend some quality time with me and my black lab, drop me a message!
