Im ultimately looking for something long term and traditional but honestly, it just depends on the chemistry, im open minded to something else, its just not really an "agenda" for me. Anyways my name is Chase, born n raised in Santa Barbara. Im lookin for a partner in crime (... this guy sounds like a dork already). Im a Gemini (... dont say "long walks the beach") and have a somewhat split personality just like the sign describes. Forgive the element of sarcastic humor on here, I always feel a little silly when trying to describe myself. I want to meet someone I can share similar values with and similar priorities and interests. But really, I just want to meet people I click with, be it socially, intimately, etc. Im not sure how easy it will be for me to meet women i click with on here, as im somewhat eccentric. My efforts on here have mainly been to meet cool, vibrant, healthy, athletic and active people to try and surround myself with good positive energy. Im trying to get in super-shape and realize that social influences are my best motivators in that respect, so please dont feel discouraged to contact me if we dont seem to click dating wise, as im looking for friends too.
Id say I have an intense personality but I generally carry myself pretty reserved; I prefer smaller and more personal social environments, although catch me in the right mood and Ill be a handful at a party (... no one likes a naked lunatic in a croud..). I dont drink too much, at least, I dont drink enough to enjoy downtown scenes as much as most around here, so my weekends are usually pretty tame in that regard (...clearly this guy needs a drink). It really depends on the phase Im in. Ive had a few internet dates in the past and for the most part its been a success in one way or the other, as most people I dont click dating wise still become friends regardless.
I enjoy a lot of nerdy culture from heavy sciences to philosophical theory. I love tinkering with gadgets and computers, I read and research science in books and online constantly. Love to have debates and talk about society, spiritual thought, psychology, music, movies, science of course. For a nerd, I spend a lot of time outdoors, love athletic sporty activities, yoga, running cycling swimming the beach etc. Im pretty goofy, more like a "Cramer" than a "Jerry". Im really easy going and casual but also intense at times, at least in my vibrant energy. I have a boyish heart yet an old soul... I am a totally awesome uncle.
I like women that are very "low key and down to earth" (...as opposed to "highkey and in orbit around the earth"...) and a woman that keeps me on my toes. I tend to enoy aggressive and outspoken women more so than shy and quite ones. Chemistry wise, Im really striving to be appreciated, rather than merely tolerated for certain things im all about, which sadly is usually the case when one is rather querky like myself. People have always told me that I have a knack for seeing what's on their mind and that I am very intuitive and influential. I have an attitude towards my life like it's an open book and I am very open about most things. Communication is always a big part of my life on a social and intimate level (...because nothing says "sex" like talking about our feelings! right? haha...). First Date
Hrm a first date... WELL considering id be meeting via the INTERNET (oooh creepy scary strangers on the internet!) I would probably have a differnt style of a "first date" than i would, had I met someone at a bar, then gave her my number, then arranged a date. I think the idea of a "blind" date still in some ways applies here, at least in the eyes of some, so I strive for an easy and casual situation. Coffee shops are classic, maybe Borders or something. I say its always best to keep things casual; no first date movies! (are u suicidal? lol). i think a dinner is more appropriately daring for the context of whats realy goin on; sometimes its a good date for a dinner, sometimes not. Anyways I still enjoy the convenience of the internet as Im definately eager to meet people, even merely socially, so say hi and chat.
