About Me
Describing myself is probably one of the hardest things for me to do. I guess I could describe myself as a slight paradox... I am young at heart but I have an old soul... so people tell me. I am currently working full time as a retail manager, while at the same time earning my Masters in Social Work at USC (Go Trojans!). I am interested in pursuing a career as a social worker in the field of mental health with a particular interest in at-risk youth, juvenile delinquency, gang intervention, and incarcerated adults. After graduating with my MSW I intend to earn my LCSW license, and possibly work for the Los Angeles County Department of Health. Later in my career I would like to open a private practice. I love people and believe that it's my calling to be an agent of change. I am very self-driven, motivated, and usually wont stop until I get what I want or what I am working for. I am always up to trying new things and exploring, and I would like to meet someone who wants to do it with me and who will push me as well. Laughter is extremely important to me and I love anything that can make me laugh to the point of tears. In my free time I like to go to the gym (looking for a gym buddy!), hike, tan, eat and try amazing food (fried anything is awesome, and I am a complete sucker for sushi!), watch movies, shop, go to Disneyland (I have an annual pass!), and go out with my girls. I like just about any kind of music except country, and I believe there is a song for every mood and occasion. I am looking for someone that can be my equal, my best friend, someone who pushes me to do and be my best at everything, and one that I can do the same for. I want a gentleman who knows how to treat a lady, and one who can be a man at the same time and handle me all together. I have a huge heart and it would be a waste if I couldn't share it with someone special.
