About Me
Caring, fun loving guy. Love music, hanging out and lots of laughs. I don't take life too seriously because I am enjoying the journey too much to get hung up on the destination! I should qualify that though, I can and will be serious when it is appropriate. I have a 10 year old son, who is the best thing in my life. I love staying in as much as going out. I love dinner out, karaoke, listening to bands and DJ's but am by no means someone who wants to go out every weekend. I can have just as much fun (if not more) hanging out with friends around a back yard campfire and cooking on the grill. Friends are important to me. Family is important to me. I love to do anything outdoors, camping, fishing, bike riding, or a simple walk to the ice cream shop.
If you've looked at my pics, you are probably trying to figure out if I'm a firefighter or an arsonist... I have been a volunteer firefighter my whole adult life, so needless to say I am community oriented and believe in "giving back". It is just my way of leaving the world a little better than it was when I found it.
I really like to cook, although I will admit I'm not the best! I can't dance, but enjoy doing it anyway as long as you promise not to laugh. I love yard sales, and am petrified of bats. I love swimming, boating, water skiing, and anything to do with the water. Going to the beach is a favorite vacation of mine. I like being very diverse. I am the type of guy who will go to see a demolition derby on Friday, then to see a play on Saturday. I believe that life has so much to offer, why not enjoy it all? I am a sports fan, but not a fanatic. I enjoy watching or going to a game ( I LOVE to watch Steelers football), but I'm not the a-typical guy who plans his life around what time sportscenter is on and his fantasy football league.
Tired of reading profiles on here that are looking for soulmates. I don't expect to find my soulmate on a dating site. I expect (or at least hope) to find people to hang out with, date, and see where it goes. You tend to find a connection where you least expect to find it...

First Date
A first date should be catered to some common interests and will vary depending on the person, but if I had to give one answer I would say something out of the ordinary, like miniature golf or bowling.... fun & time to get to know you. Maybe grab some dinner & a few drinks...
