Update: 2/28/2013 // Maybe this is asking too much from a site like this, but I'm not looking for a hook-up, I'm not looking for a bunch of cute guys to treat me like crap, or to make me feel wanted. I'm looking for a lasting relationship, and I'm in this for the long haul. If I saw I want to meet you, it means I want to get to know you better, to see if what's on your profile matches up with what comes out of your mouth. Maybe these are unrealistic expectations, but I want someone real. And I want someone who will treat me like a real person, not something they can use and discard. Or only talk to when the mood hits them.

Even if its just to tell me you're a bit busy at the moment. Or, if I've done something you don't like, tell me instead of leaving me wondering. I can't know I've done something wrong until I'm told.
First lets talk about how silly this is. No one can really know much about someone based on a blurb. You only get the parts they think are good about themselves which leads to disappointment.
So here are the facts: I'm twenty-three, I'm in school to be a medical assistant, but I really want to be a drug rehabilitation nurse. I like a lot of things in their true vintage format, or things made to look vintage. Give me a classic car and a greaser boy any day of the week, but he's also got to know Hank McCoy from Leonard McCoy and if he doesn't it might be a deal breaker. I can get pretty nerdy, pretty fast, and if I don't and there's an opportunity for me to, then it's obvious something is up.
I read probably more than I should, and I like a little of everything. Biographies are amazing. I really enjoy playing games, video or table top or even just a long night playing Arkham Horror with a couple friends. I love to have fun and if I'm not having fun, we have a problem.
I listen to most types of music, but I prefer classic rock or some alt rock. Music keeps me motivated, and if there isn't a song playing in my head, I probably won't do anything. The song I have now drives me to do the best I can, and I need someone who compliments that song in me.

First Date
I really enjoy museums and I think that museums as a first date really tell you a lot about a person, what they are interested in, how they display their interest, their level of excitement. And those are the parts of people I'm interested in. If you're interested in something be passionate about it. Tell me how much you love sharks if we're going to the Aquarium, or tell me your favorite dinosaur if we're at the alAcademy of Art and Science. Just don't be boring. Going to a museum or an aquarium is the ideal first date.
