I am a widowed father of four, two of whom still live at home...or I should say occasionally dock at home. I had a wonderful 27 year relationship with my wife and best friend until she suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. It's been a while now and I'm ready to explore new relationships, based first on friendship, trust, and an honest respect.
I'm a Redskin fan and always have been. I also root for Maryland (where I went to school), Notre Dame (the Police Chief there is a friend of mine), the Capitals and Nationals. I like college basketball, but not pro ball. I think it's rigged. Tennis and golf are fun to play but torture to watch (like paint drying). Auto racing is not very exciting to me either (hurry up - turn left, hurry up - turn left)!!!
My music is contemporary jazz (Boney James, Richard Elliott, David Sanborn, Nelson Rangel, Gerald Albright), but my all time favorite is the Rippingtons. I like some country, some pop (although today's music seems to get more raunchy every day). Come on Miley, are you Cyrus?? ;)
I love to cook. Nothing better than jazz on the Bose, Chianti in the glass, and lasagna in the oven. All I need now is someone to share it with.
Before I bore you to tears, I will end with this:
An intelligent man will open your mind;
A handsome man will open your eyes; but
A gentleman will open your heart.
(not mine, but I like the thought).
Like I said: jazz on the Bose, Chianti in crystal glasses, and lasagna in the oven. Maybe a dance around the kitchen center island and an after dinner walk through the neighborhood with Jasper and my fond companion (dishes can wait and I don't mind doing them).
