I suppose you could call me the "strong, silent type." I am generally a very reserved and laid back person, but I'm driven and focused when I need to be. I am a man (not a boy) who has a part time job, and who knows what qualities/values he wants in a women, and I don't play games. I have two wonderful sisters, and two awesome parents.
I'm very close to my father, in particular. My dad tells me there are two very important questions a man must ask himself, in order: "Where am I going in life, and who's going to go there with me?" I know where i'm going in life. I've been finishing up my soft more year of college, and am working on my BA in Criminal Justice. After that I plan to receive law enforcement training to help me in my career choice as a US Marshall. (I eventually hope to become a member of the Secret Service someday.) I'm well educated, I love my country, I believe in Justice, and I love protecting/standing up for people. Thus, it's a win-win.
My hobbies include reading, collecting comics, taking walks, exercising, hanging out with friends, and Martial Arts, among others. I also enjoy listening to good music, and playing the drums. (Sorry, but rap doesn't count.) I also love animals; birds of prey in particular, but I like dogs too. The Great Horned Owl is, IMHO, the most beautiful animal on the Blue Planet. (And my favorite, too!) I'm a big movie person. My favorite line is from the John Wayne movie, "Mclintock": "You have to be a man first before you're a gentleman, and he (the governor) misses on both counts!" I also enjoy making people laugh, but I try not to over do it. My favorite places in the world is Barnes and Noble, and N. Carolina.
What am I looking for in a woman? To be quite honest, at this point in my life, I'm genuinely interested more of a friendship than a relationship. But hey, if that friendship culminates into a relationship, then that would be awesome! IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE: I've never been in a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship with a woman. I believe in treating women with respect, though I will not allow myself to be dominated by them. I despise men who desire to use a women for their own personal gains, and I don't do one-night-stands. I am also a Christian, and I love kids. I'm a BIG family person, and I am pretty old fashioned. (As in, courtship old-fashioned.) In the end, however, I'm looking for a woman who loves Jesus Christ with all her heart, as I do. It's OK if she's not perfect, or even if she's a little broken. That's alright, you see, because so am I.
