I'm a transplant to the area from just about everywhere. I grew up in Columbus, Ohio then did my undergrad in South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) and I got a master's degree at a school in western Massachusetts. I'm in Tennessee because I got a job here. The fall is my favorite season because of college football and the perfect hiking weather. I love to travel and explore restaurants, museums, and random attractions along the way. That means driving to the little towns around here, learning to enjoy airports, and convincing my friends to try new and interesting things with me.
People like having me around because they like my optimism, dry humor, and generally supportive attitude (I say generally because, in my group of friends, I'm usually the voice of reason, too). I'm laid back around others and try not to let the world stress me out too much but I'm driven in my professional and academic life. I love doing things outside like Ultimate Frisbee, biking, and hiking. I love to jog, too, but that's an inside sport for me. I like museums on just about everything and anything because I'm always trying to learn something new. I don't "go out" hard to get wrecked much anymore but a nice dinner and/or a couple of drinks with a friend makes for the start to a pretty good evening.
I'm looking for other people who share my driven attitude, optimistic outlook (Eeyore was lame), and general excitement about life. Can't wait to meet you!
