About Me
What makes a man unique? I tend to think we're all unique and if we weren't then maybe life would be a bit dull. I have many interests and so when I am not working my 9 to 5 job as a specialist mechanic you will find me getting involved in a spectrum of activities. I love skiing (I've been told I'm not too bad) and my last jaunt was at Vald'isere in France - we had a blast and it was certainly a good way to beat the winter blues. I guess you can say I'm quite community minded and this is why I offer a lot of my spare time to the scout organisation. YES, that's right..I'm a man scout! .... Well somebody has to make sure that the kids of today are still able learn the old fashioned practical skills, such as lighting fires, building grass huts and surviving in extreme weather conditions.
Apart from the afore mentioned scout responsibilities, I'm generally a laid back and sociable kind of guy. I love catching up with friends and having a few drinks and sometimes I'll throw a few shapes (if appropriate). I enjoy fine wine and like trying new brands and beers. Sadly I'm not an amazing cook but all going well, you will be a good cook and I can fix your car!
So in all honesty I've been single for a while and although I have many wonderful things happening in my life - I still haven't found my lady. I'm honest, reliable and caring and I believe I have good morals, my friends say I'm a bloody nice guy!
I have an eclectic taste in music and I would say I'm a music lover - I can play the clarinet and occasionally have a session. My favourite band of all time is....Queen...but don't let this put you off because I generally like it all.

First Date
There are so many different things to do on a first date and I am always open to suggestions and trying new things.
My idea of a good first date would be something casual and relaxing like a coffee or an afternoon drink, which could potentially lead into dinner or more drinks if that's what we both felt like doing.
In saying that, if you wanted to do something different like maybe a game of pool or go karting then I am also your man!
