Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it. ~Buddha
If I were to think about getting involved more than friends:
I'd be looking for someone close to my age.
Open minded, someone willing to grow together and adapt and change where we both need too, in order to become the best people we can. Someone who makes me a better person, and is my rock, who is there for me when I need them, as I will be for them. Someone who will cook when I'm not feeling well, and take care of me for a change because I always take such good care of him. Someone that does not cheat, and will be open enough to be my best friend, and some day my companion.
