I'm looking for casual dating and friendly nights out. Interested in finding someone with similar interests for drinks, coffee, good conversation, exploring Philly and the surrounding area. I am gregarious and can pretty much talk to anyone- but don't want to hold a conversation all by myself on a date- looking for someone who understands my sacrcasm and biting sense of humor.
I am equally at home on the beach in a swimsuit, hiking in the mountains or at a fancy dinner in the city. I like to explore new places and try new restaurants, but I also like a quiet night at home with a good movie and bottle of wine. During the summer I spend a lot of time at the beach and enjoy riding the waves or simply sunbathing with a good book. If you can relax at the beach with nothing but a book, a towel and sunglasses for 8+ hours- you'll fit right in.
All things happen for a reason- looking for someone who is a friend first. Someone who is honest, loyal, understanding and has a high level of energy to keep up with me. I am very direct and upfront. Don't expect a lot of "fluff" from me on the first date- let's be honest about who we are, where we've been and what we desire for the future. That being said- if you don't want a second date- just tell me, I can handle it. Honesty and communication are the most important things to me- along with a healthy dose of laughter and sex appeal. If you can't communicate how you are feeling, what you want out of life and your philosophies of life, keep moving on. I don't want to change you and nor do I want to be your project or experiment.
I don't want to have to "take care of everything". I've done that for the past 15 years and am exhausted by it. I'm looking for someone who can be a partner.
This past year has been very challenging for me- both personally and professionally. I'm looking for someone who understands the challenges of my career and my home demands. I have two little boys who are amazing little people and I strive to be the best mom I can. I'm looking for someone who understands my parenting philosophy and the fact that I work two jobs- one very stressful and busy, the other relaxed and mellow. I can make time for fun, but sometimes other things in life come first. My life is very full, but I make time for my friends and family.
