About Me
Hi! I'm a single mom of two girls and a 6 month old puppy. I work full time as a social worker on an inpatient psychiatric unit. As you can imagine, life is, well, um... interesting :)
I certainly keep busy with my day to day routines but I really love spending time with my friends and family. My favorite place to spend time is in NYC. I love to go to restaurants, Broadway plays, lounges or even just one of the parks for the day. I'm more of a downtown girl. I lived in the Village for 10 years. I had the time of my life! That being said, I was born and raised in New Jersey. So, I guess I'm a Jersey girl, too! I love the beaches and hope that we can all enjoy them this summer after Sandy hit us so hard. Aside from the local places to visit, I love to travel. If I could pick one place to return to, I would pick Italy. I love the food, the shopping and the history is amazing! Several years back I had to pass up an opportunity to go on a safari in Africa. I'm hoping that I will be given that opportunity again someday.
I feel as if I've met some of my personal goals such as earning my Masters Degree in Social Work and establishing a career for myself. Now one of my main goals is helping my daughters to grow up to become strong, intelligent, happy women.
I've been divorced for a few years now and I am looking forward to moving on with my life. I would love to meet someone who I can share my life with, someone who will make me laugh, someone who will be there for me when I cry but mostly someone who will be my best friend.

Of course everyone always thinks about the "amazing first date". I think that the most important thing is for my date to be himself. If a relationship starts, then that first date was great!
