Briefly about me:
Born in Jersey City, New Jersey now live in Norwich, New York
Worked 2 fulltime jobs for 20 years, retired from one in 1999, the other in 2012.
Currently live on 80 acres in a house I built myself, with HUGE garden (about 500 plants in summer), 3 cats and I just ordered 10 laying hens and 10 turkeys to raise for eggs and meat...so I'll be sticking around the neighborhood this year.
Ex split in 1997, one son who is 26, lives in Iowa.
Interests, many...just a short list is above.
Likes: prime rib, chinese buffets, the color blue, classic rock music, jeans and tee shirts, lazy sundays, skinny dippin', teaching kids, shoveling snow, splitting firewood, fresh garden vegetables, being outdoors, local theatrical events, auctions, fresh cut grass, wildflowers, chickens, viewing wildlife, waterfalls, and plenty more.
Dislikes: liver, cottage cheese and bologna. smoking cigarettes, liars, cheats, sneaks and snobs, tennis, golf and ingnorant/rude people.
Accomplishments: many, you gotta pull it out of me, I'm not a braggart.
Goals and Aspirations: Ah, my bucket list? Lots...lets start with getting a good kayak and mountain bike this spring, lowering my blood sugar now (I'm a diabetic), maybe get my motorcycle license finally...do more fishing and camping this summer, hike the FLT, climb the ADK 46, visit more pro baseball and football stadiums, get to South Africa for a safari some day, Christmas cruising on the Danube, The Great Wall of China. brush up on my spanish and learn chinese...and the list goes on...and on...
I don't smoke, never have. Don't gamble...only go to the casino for live entertainment and the buffet.
...and I can't keep up with being politically correct most of the time.

Average build, no Olive Oyl types, noone who gets on the Talking Scale and it says, "one at a time, please"
Near my height or shorter (I'm 5'6", you don't have to scroll back up to look)
Don't mind the front of the canoe or the back of the car *wink, wink*
Can drive a standard, I have a small car thats a 5 speed, the tractors are 12 speeds and the dozer is an 8 speed. my pickup and other car are automatics
Eats meat (preferrably with a knife and fork), no vegans or vegetarians please.
Doesn't have more kids than teeth

It intrigues me why so many emails go "unread deleted"...not a chance taker amongst the females on here.

Well, as for a first date...something somewhat unplanned...I mean, lets make it spontaneous...meet for a coffee or lunch and then wing it! Heck, we'll know in the first 5 minutes if there's any chemistry...thats what I'm looking for, someone to make my heart flutter, someone I can spot across a crowded room, someone who I can't wait to get home to be with once again....
