About Me
I am 22 years old, living in the Sacramento area with one roommate. Originally from Los Angeles, moved to Sacramento as a kid, the moved to Chico for a year to go to Paramedic school, and the ended up back in Sacramento to be closer to work and family. I work as an EMT/Paramedic for a company in the bay area. In my free time I love to play volleyball, go camping, take the dogs to the park, but I also love to just curl up on the couch with a good book. I am a very laid back, easy going person. I love to just spend time with people talking and catching up. Friends and family mean the world to me. I feel that you can never tell and show someone too much how much they mean to you (yes, there is a difference between smothering/clingy and being sincere). Other than that, not much to tell.
I spend a lot of time volunteering. I volunteer for a several medical groups, volunteering my time and education providing medical care at concerts, free clinics, and in schools. I spend a lot of my free time volunteering for EMT and Paramedic programs, working with their students to help build their skill sets and confidence. I think it is extremely important to give back to the community. And as I am very passionate about my job, I also feel that it is important to give back and help educate our own. I had the most amazing instructors and role models while growing up and going to school, so I try to set the same example for the up and coming EMS generation, as well as for my little sister and the other younger ones in my life.
