About Me
First off, I tend to be quite sarcastic, so thin-skinned people need not message me. I like a good, witty conversation. Single mommy to a beautiful blue-eyed 4 year old girl. I live in the kind of town where everyone knows everyone has dated everyone, etc and it gets very irritating. It's time to expand my horizons and get out of this town from time to time. I'm a spelling and grammar Nazi, sorry, I can't help it. It's so bad I can't even shorthand in text messages. I don't do drama or negativity. I tend to have a perpetually sunny disposition. Yea, I'm one of those. Rather have a positive outlook than be moody all the time. Country girl at heart, though most wouldn't believe it. I'm mostly a homebody. Don't really go out often. When my daughter is with her dad I prefer a relaxing night in over craziness. But I still know how to have fun too. LOVE cooking! And not just basic meals. I have to go all out inventive when I cook, the more challenging the better. I'm quite the domestic goddess if I do say so myself. I like to think I'll make some man very happy someday :)
I recently got back into the gym and go 5-6 days a week. It's a great stress reliever. The feeling of waking up and feeling sore in every muscle is something I look forward to every day. Odd, I know, but it's proof I'm doing something right and heading in the right direction. I have certain goals for myself and won't stop until I reach them...and then I'll keep pushing further.
Raised to be a very stubbornly independent woman and I take pride in that. I don't need someone to take care of me, I do that myself quite well, thank you. But a partner in crime wouldn't be so bad. I prefer things to be mutually beneficial. I'm a hopeless romantic at heart, what girl isn't? But let's face it, I don't expect any knight in shining armor to ride up on a white horse. Something much simpler would do just fine :)
