Happily retired sales and marketing exec living modestly and comfortably and ready to find a partner who will walk this path with me. Attraction and physical compatibility is most important . I'm no chef but even I know nothing cooks without heat. Although I prefer more petite women, please just don't be taller than me or so short I keep tripping over you. I prefer someone who can share common memories of events, experiences, music and feelings of growing up in the 60-70's. We should be able to engage intelligently on a wide variety of popular current or historical issues ('engage' could be anything from debates to pillow fights) so please be intelligent and playful, and don't take life too seriously. One more thing; religion and politics are curiosities to talk about but neither plays a significant role in my life. It's also important that we both be proactive (but not obsessive) in maintaining our good health and dietary habits. I like live concerts and plays in small venues, spectacular productions in giant venues; comedy clubs, musical performances. And let's dance whenever we feel like; wherever we feel like it.

I very much enjoy the desert in season - I take advantage of the activity and entertainment in a small town, somewhat laid back atmosphere. I had a great career in sales that allowed me to travel the US and most of the Far East . I have also owned other small businesses. I'm trim, fit and in well managed good health. I’m articulate, intelligent, funny, and try to approach each day with appreciation, anticipation and a positive attitude. I usually start my day with an early morning walk, listening to Adele, Jesse Cook or Cold Play or other 'beat' music to help me keep a quick pace. You may also find me on the golf course, or exploring, shopping or doing busy work at home. I will use evenings to catch up, clean up and relax. I dine out frequently but only because I don’t cook for one. Family is important to me. I have 2 granddaughters and I manage my mom’s health care. I have an extended family on the east.coast, where I grew up. So I have a life.
