About Me
A slightly "off" sense of humor is a must with me, as I have a quirky sense of humor myself. I’m a strange combination of dark and twisty, and loud and sparkly.

This site makes me feel like I am shopping, or like I should come up with something to "sell" you on the idea of me. Seeing as I'm not exactly sure what to say to make someone want to meet me, I'll just ramble for a bit.
Some things you might want to know about me:
-I once got my foot stuck in a toilet
-I broke both my baby toes within a week of each other
-I have one tattoo and plan on many more
-I am a middle child
-I sometimes tear up watching commercials
-I find myself laughing at inappropriate times a lot
-I am fiercely loyal
What I am looking for: someone who is honest, sincere, true to himself, romantic, a gentleman, interesting, adventurous, hilarious, sarcastic, and maybe more than a little bit nerdy.
I have had two extensive surgeries on my spine, and though I can do most of the things everyone else can do, sometimes I need to slow it down a bit to take care of myself. There is now a whack of titanium and a cadaver bone all hooked up to my spine, so I'm pretty sure that makes me the ultimate partner to have around in either a zombie or robot apocalypse. Both zombies and robots will consider me one of their own, and I will be safe. That's someone you're going to want to have around when the going gets tough. Of course, it's also just a theory.
Travel is one thing I can't get enough of, though I need to scrimp and save to get my butt out the door. I like spontaneity in every day life, and in any adventures that come my way. While there is a time for planning, and I get that, I am more than likely the one to throw those plans out the window because I saw something shiny. Most people I know like to be around me because of this, and I like to be around people who can keep me grounded when need be (though I do get frustrated if people always want to keep me sane).
I could be classified a nerd, if someone wanted to put a label on me. Really though, a nerd is just someone who isn't afraid to be over enthusiastic about the things they love. I don't mind it if you want to call me a nerd at all.
I like to over-analyze books, movies, and television shows. I love comics and graphic novels. I went to Comic-Con International in San Diego last summer and plan on going to some other comic conventions across Canada and the US (as well as Europe).
My taste in music would be considered eclectic. I like almost all music (except really heavy metal, screaming noisy nothingness). I listen to Amanda Palmer, Ani DiFranco, musical soundtracks, The Beatles, The Black Keys, Pearl Jam, The Tragically Hip, Ed Sheeran, Plan B, The Airborne Toxic Event, We Were Promised Jetpacks, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Cage The Elephant, Adele, Birdy, Bon Iver, Christina Perri, Civil Twilight, My Morning Jacket, Johnny Cash, Stompin' Tom, Patsy Cline, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, and I could go on and on... I kind of just did. Sorry about that.
