I have been in DC for one year now, and am loving life. (Eventually) I want to share it with a great person. I'm happy, secure, and mostly confident- :-P. I love being outdoors and learning new, fun activities. I'm a jeans a t-shirt kind of gal, and enjoy the occasional 'dress and heels' night on the town.
I work in an office outside of DC- I am still getting used to the commute in the morning, and the limited lunch options near my office. I enjoy anything that gets me outside. I am more at home hiking, camping and off-roading than I am in a fist-pumping nightclub. As I stated before, I enjoy learning new activities. I have recently started indoor rock climbing, and LOVE it! It would be great to find someone that enjoys trying new and interesting things/activities as well. I love adventure, and have had several different experiences; two of which I would love to try again: scuba diving and skydiving!
I have traveled quite a bit, and intend to see more of the world. Just this past year I have been to Spain, England and Ireland. I would love to see more of my own backyard at some point, considering I haven't really taken the time to explore what the U.S. has to offer.
What am I looking for?
That's a good question. Thank you for asking.
I do not like the pressure that comes with dating. I would prefer to find someone to hang out with who has similar interests, family values, and is willing to start as friends. I am a fit and athletic individual, and hope to connect with like-minded people. If something evolves from there than great! If not, then at least we will both have a new 'partner in crime' (I know this phrase is completely overused, especially in the online dating realm. Please accept my apologies for using it.).
If you think we would hit it off, or you're just looking for an activity partner, feel free to contact me. P.S. I prefer e-mails/messages to winks, ratings and pokes.
